My name is Gabo and I am the founder of Xolo Custom Guitars.

 

Our mission is to push the agenda of guitar and bass ergonomics, aesthetics, and design to create inspiring instruments that unlock players' full creative potential and provide supreme playability.

Since I was 15, I have been modding my own guitars looking to find "the one." Thirteen years later, in late 2017, I began my apprenticeship with a local Luthier in Mexico City with the aim of being able to make my own guitar designs. Back then, I had no intention of making guitars for anyone else but me. It was my Mentor who, upon seeing my designs, saw their potential  and encouraged me to share my work with the world. I listened and the first set of orders were placed soon after.

Since then, we've been able to design a variety of guitar models, have had customers spanning 4 continents, and nurtured a growing artist roster in Mexico and the United States. We had our first NAMM Show exhibit in April 2023 where we received praise for our designs and work. We continuously work to scale our production capacity to accommodate a growing demand, and continue to iterate on all aspects of design to allow us to fulfill our mission.
